Software Engineer – Payment Integration

As a member of our engineering team, you will be crucial in developing and optimizing payment processing systems using cutting-edge technologies.

Role Overview 

We are seeking a Software Engineer – Payment Integration to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on integrating payment gateways, financial APIs, and other transaction processing systems within our ecosystem. The ideal candidate has experience in developing and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and maintain payment integration solutions
• Integrate with third-party payment gateways, APIs, and banking systems.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, security standards (PCI-DSS), and data protection laws.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA, and DevOps, to optimize payment workflows.
• Monitor and enhance transaction performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve payment processing issues promptly.
• Implement unit tests and maintain high code quality.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging payment technologies, and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills 

• 3+ years of experience in software development using .NET (C#) / Java.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, App Services, Event Grid, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Azure API Management).
• Experience with payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Mobile Money, Visa Cybersource, Mastercard MPGS) and financial APIs.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0, and Webhooks.
• Familiarity with PCI-DSS compliance and security best practices.
• Experience with SQL databases and NoSQL solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of message queues and event-driven architecture (e.g., Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ).
• Experience working in fintech, banking, or payment processing industries.
• Knowledge of blockchain or decentralized payment technologies is a plus.
